Rise Against Hunger Philippines believes that creating a food secure country requires both effective programs and good public policies. The organization is committed to furthering the integration of practice and policy to achieve sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty. To do this, Rise Against Hunger Philippines works closely with government agencies, anti-hunger organizations, corporations, and foundations to create awareness and generate adequate funding that will effectively address hunger, malnutrition and food security.
Rise Against Hunger Philippines currently advocates for the creation of a Presidential Commission on Zero Hunger and for the passage of a law to institutionalize food banking in the Philippines.
You can support this program by participating in our advocacy activities that we post on our Facebook page Rise Against Hunger Philippines.
