ABOUT US
Rise Against Hunger Raleigh was founded in 2005 and serves the central North Carolina region. In 2017, nearly 26,000 local volunteers and partnering organizations, including faith groups, schools and corporations, have helped build the local movement to end global hunger. In this region alone, through 2017, more than 44.6 million meals have been packaged to benefit 35 countries.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Raleigh warehouse does accept volunteer help with various tasks and can verify community service hours. Warehouse volunteers help support meal packaging operations by helping stage for events, restocking supplies, stacking aid pallets for shipment, sanitizing and organizing equipment, sorting merchandise and general cleaning. Labeling bags is a helpful task also, requiring limited physical exertion.
For information about community service hours in the warehouse, please visit our SignUp Genius Page or email Raleigh@RiseAgainstHunger.org.
