Partners

Rise Against Hunger, Philippines partners with nonprofits across the country to provide food and other life-saving aid to those in need. These partners support a variety of development programs that work with members of the community to meet their basic needs and create long-term, sustainable change.

Partners are selected after undergoing a comprehensive evaluation which addresses not only the effectiveness and sustainability of the organization’s programs, but also their ability to receive, store and distribute meals, as well as provide regular reporting on their use and the impact of their programs. Rise Against Hunger staff members deliver meals and visit partner sites throughout the year to monitor the use of the aid that was provided and look for other ways that Rise Against Hunger can support their efforts.

Rise Against Hunger meals primarily support school feeding, vocational training, child development programs, as well as to orphanages and medical clinics. Working with these programs helps enhance lives by giving beneficiaries the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education, skills development, and health care while also receiving much needed nutrition. Rise Against Hunger Philippines meals also go to areas affected by natural disasters. Rise Against Hunger fosters relationships among our network of partners to mobilize the most amount of relief aid possible in the shortest amount of time. Rise Against Hunger not only provides meals packaged by our dedicated volunteers, but facilitates shipments of donated products when available such as medical supplies, water, and food.
